Knitting and Magick

 Knitting and Magick, those are two different things. I thought so, but as I knit, being a ritual magician and psychonaut. I find the math bliss of geometric patterns. The process alone is more like a martial art than a craft. And it's dominated by women but when a man does it, it's like a big deal. Sexist? a bit. The box must not exist. It is more like a hacker or a programmer than it is a craft.  Not to mention you get a cool thing when you are done.

I started August 15th and started to make a pointed cap. It took me two tries to get it to work, it's ok, I even wear it as I write. I wanted to make a magick cap. The history of the pointed cap worn by the phrygians, gnostics, magicians, witches alike. the reason for the dunce cap was to channel mind power. Working like a tuning fork, it made one more in tune to the creator, the genius, the daemon.. etc. 

Anyway I thought my knitting and crochet work should be separate, not contaminated by the other perverted creativity I do. So this is the pure form of Scott's Knitting and Crochet work.  I just want to show what can be done, not to mention the mental, emotional benefits of knitting.  

Be cool and learn to knit.
